Radiant Orchid

When the Pantone color of the year for 2014 was revealed, I thought "of course it is" it's fantastic! (My post is a little tardy, a lot of blogs about this pantone have already circulated, I guess I am fashionably late). I adore this color and you will see it sprinkled about my house mostly in floral arrangements, however last year, I took it a step further by adding it to our bedroom with a gorgeous large lumbar pillow by Galbraith and Paul, an agate accessory and art created by my daughter who too, adores this color.

I think it is a masterful hue because it works so well with other colors on either side of the chart. Design totally submerged in the color, or just a splash, it makes a statement.
